Original Kubooh Pod
Will this fit a single bed?
Yes, the Kubooh pod fits a standard single bed.
What colours does the pod come in?
The Kubooh pod comes in three colours, grey, navy blue, and baby pink, to fit your preference.
Where are the openings on the pod?
Our pod has 4 fully unzippable door flaps at both the head and foot of the bed as well as on both sides, making it easily accessible. The openings at the head and foot also have a mesh windows.
What is the pod made of?
The Kubooh pod is made of soft polyester making it breathable and lightweight.
Is the pod tumble-dryer safe?
We recommend to air dry your pod to keep its shape.
Could the pod be placed on the floor?
Yes, it could be put on the floor. Although, it’s highly recommended to place a mattress inside to keep the pod securely in place as well as making it comfortable, it is free-standing so could be used without a mattress as for example a play tent, den, or sensory space.
How difficult is it to change the bedding while the mattress is in the pod?
Not difficult at all! simply unzip the flap openings and take off your bedding as you usually would.
What are the dimensions, once unfolded?
Dimensions are 190cm x 90cm x 110cm.
Will this fit a double bed?
Unfortunately, our pods currently only fit single beds, but we have plans to make pods suited for double beds in the future. Watch this space.
Is there a bottom to the pod or does it just sit on top?
The pod has a bottom to it (similar to a sewn in groundsheet in a tent) which sits over the base or slats of your bed frame and the mattress slides inside the pod to keep it securely in place.
Is the pod machine-washable?
While we highly recommend you hand wash the pod, it is machine-washable on a gentle wash only. Make sure to remove all poles before washing.
Does the pod block out all light?
Although our pod blocks out most light, it does not block out all light. However, we are looking to expand into blackout pods in the future.
Is there storage space inside the pod?
Yes, there is a pocket inside the pod to store items you would ordinarily put on a nighstand.
One of the poles in my pod has broken, what do I do?

What are weighted blankets?
Weighted blankets are thick throw blankets with a heavy filling inside to make the blanket weighted. They are known for offering a deep touch pressure that helps calm the body, offering a deep hug feeling.
Do weighted blankets help with anxiety?
Weighted blankets apply pressure to the skin which science shows stimulates neurotransmitters like serotonin and melatonin that calm the brain and aid in reducing anxiety.
Do weighted blankets help with sleep?
Weighted blankets have helped patients with insomnia and other sleep issues to sleep better at night, leading to being able to wake up fully rested.
Which size of weighted blanket would best suit me?
The smaller blanket, weighing 3kg, is recommended for ages 3-9, while the larger blanket, weighing 5kg, is recommended for ages 9+.
Is the blanket machine-washable and tumble-dryer safe?
Yes, the blanket is both machine-washable and tumble-dryer safe. Wash on a blanket wash at 30°C.
What is the filling in the weighted blanket?
Our blankets use a glass bead filling rather than plastic pellets to prevent bunching and decrease the use of unnecessary plastics.
What are weighted blankets good for?
Weighted blankets have proven to have positive results in maintaining several conditions including anxiety, autism, depression, ADHD, and restless leg syndrome
Are weighted blankets safe for diabetics?
The heaviness of a weighted blanket may interfere with circulation in people with diabetes.
What size is the weighted blanket?
Our weighted blankets come in two sizes and weights to best suit you. The smaller blanket measures 40 x 60 inches, weighs 3kg, and is recommended for ages 3-9, while the larger blanket measures 48 x 72 inches, weighs 5kg, and is recommended for ages 9+.
Can a child under 3 years old use a weighted blanket?
No, due to the nature of a weighted blanket being heavy, they should not be given to children who cannot push the blanket off of themselves due to risk of suffocation.
What is the weighted blanket made of?
The blanket is made from a very soft microfiber, and is hypoallergenic, breathable, cruelty-free and sensory friendly. It has 7 layers of material and double stitching for durability.
Sensory Light Projector
How many different colours does light projector have?
Our sensory light projector has 4 different light colours which project a moving cloud like image onto the ceiling, as well as green or purple laser dot stars. These colours can also overlap each other to create endless colours if desired.
Does the projector require batteries?
No, it does not require batteries, it simply needs to be plugged into a mains power source.
Which music platforms can speaker be connected to?
It can be connected via Bluetooth to Spotify, Apple music, and Amazon music so that you can listen to podcasts, music, or sleep stories through the speaker.
How do I change the brightness level?
Press the sun button on the remote control to increase or decrease brightness to your preference.
How do I change the speed of the projection wave?
Press the ‘S+’ button on the remote control to increase the speed, and press the ‘S-‘ button to decrease the speed.
How do I sync the light projection changing colour to the beat of the music played through the speaker?
Sync the projector to your phone using Bluetooth and start playing music through it. Then press the microphone button on the remote control.
Do the light patterns move or is the projection static?
The projection can be adjusted to either be static or moving using the remote control.
Does the projector come with a USB plug?
The projector does not come with the required usb plug but will fit any generic usb plug.
Can I make the light projector less bright?
Yes, the projector has 3 brightness settings which can be adjusted using the remote control.
How do I change the colour of the projection?
Press either the ‘R’, ‘B’, ‘G’, or ‘W’ button on the remote control to project red, blue, green, or white, respectively. Press the button again to remove a particular colour. Pressing multiple colour buttons without removing the original colour will cause multiple colours to overlap and be projected at once.
How do I set a timer for projector to turn off by itself?
Press the ‘1H’ or ‘2H’ button on the remote control to set the projector on a timer to turn off after 1 or 2 hours.
Can I change the colour of the laser dot stars?
Yes, press the laser power button on the remote control to either project purple stars, green stars, or both purple and green stars at the same time.
